Her understanding of everything that we say and everything going on around her is unbelievable. Just the other day, I asked her where her jacket was and then got distracted with a phone call, a few minutes later... there she was with her jacket. We are working on watching everything we say now.
Halloween was so fun this year because she actually sort of got it. She loved her costume, she had to wear it the whole week leading up to the event. She picked up trick-or-treating very quickly and took more than one handful on a few occasions - and we only went to 5 houses, but her basket was full.
Her favorite words at the moment:
Hi, and bye (constantly)
Boris (Morris, also constantly)
Mama's
Dada's
Cheers
Bless (Bless you)
Ma (More or milk)
No No
Mouse (mickey mouse)
Minnie (her stuffed animal minnie mouse)
Goofs (her stuffed animal goofy)
Blanks (blanket)
Whoooa (like a surfer would)
Ear, Nose, Eyes, Hair
Gooz (Shoes)
Brace (Bracelet)
We take Morris on a walk every morning and now she has to grab a plastic bag too (just like mommy) and we walk him around. I pick up his biz and she collects leaves in her bag. Then she has to walk up the stairs, of course by herself, and open the closet and give him a treat. It used to take me 5 min, now it's at least 20 min every morning.
She's always trying to help. She sorts the fridge, unloads the dishwasher (while I'm loading it), and helps unfold her clean laundry.
She gives high 5's and bones, which has a sound effect... chhhh. She blows kisses and gives the real thing too. She puckers up her big lips and it's the best thing in the world. She also beatboxes, she still dances like crazy, loves music more than any kid we know and loves being chased/playing tag. If you just say the words "I'm gonna get you..." she takes off screaming.
